Burmeso – Trend kasus malaria di Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya Tahun 2022, mengalami Peningkatan yaitu dari 10.094 kasus pada tahun 2021 meningkat menjadi 15.924 kasus pada tahun 2022. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan pencatatan dan pelaporan malaria di fasilitas Dinas kesehatan Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya makin membaik. Tim Percepatan Eliminasi Malaria yang di fasilitas Dinas kesehatan diharapkan bekerja dengan baik sehingga dapat mendeteksi kasus malaria lebih dini. Kita harus tetap berusaha, berjuang dan melakukan apa yang dapat kita lakukan sebagai bentuk komitmen kita menuju kabupaten yang bebas malaria sebelum tahun 2030 demikian disampaikan oleh Bupati Mamberamo Raya yang diwakili Plh. Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya, Drs. Yusuf Mayabubun pada Kegiatan Evaluasi Percepatan Eliminasi Malaria di Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya, Selasa 12 Juli 2023 bertempat di Aula Bappeda Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya.
Selanjutnya Yusuf Mayabubun menuturkan: Menurut laporan SISMAL (Sistim Informasi dan Surveilance Malaria) Kementerian Kesehatan RI pada tahun 2022, Provinsi Papua merupakan penyumbang kasus malaria terbanyak di Indonesia yakni sebanyak 363.854 kasus atau 87,6% dari total kasus malaria di Indonesia di sumbang oleh 10 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Papua, yaitu Kabupaten Mimika, Kabupaten Jayapura, Kota Jayapura, Kabupaten Keerom, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Kabupaten Asmat, Kabupaten Kepulauan Yapen, Kabupaten Sarmi, Kabupaten Boven Digoel dan Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya. Target eliminasi malaria nasional yang dicanangkan pada tahu 2030 akan dicapai bila di seluruh kabupaten/kota selambat-lambatnya pada tahun 2026 tidak ditemukan lagi kasus malaria indigenous (setempat) dan angka insiden malaria kurang dari 1 per 21.000 penduduk. Untuk menuju ke sana diperlukan tindakan akselerasi atau percepatan, khususnya di 10 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Papua, termasuk didalamnya Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya. Pemerintah melalui Direktorat Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia pada 5 Oktober 2022 yang lalu telah mencanangkan Gebrak Siaga Malaria. Kegiatan ini dihadiri 9 perwakilan pemerintah kabupaten/kota endemis tinggi malaria di Provinsi Papua. Pada pertemuan tersebut pemerintah dari 9 kapupaten/kota telah menandatangani komitmen dan dukungan dalam upaya akselerasi penurunan malaria di wilayah masing-masing.
Sehubungan dengan itu Pemerintah Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya telah mengeluarkan Peraturan Bupati Nomor 58 Tahun 2022 Tentang Pedoman Percepatan Eliminasi Malaria Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya. Saya berharap, Perbup ini dapat disosialisasikan dan diterjemahkan dalam bentuk kegiatan dan program yang mendukung eliminasi malaria di daerah ini. Program dan kegiatan eliminasi malaria tidak saja menjadi urusan Dinas Kesehatan, Puskesmas dan tenaga kesehatan. Lintas sektor baik vertical dan horizontal perlu memasukkan kegiatan-kegiatan yang mendukung upaya eliminasi malaria ke dalam program mereka. Untuk itulah kita berkumpul di tempat ini, bersama-sama mengevaluasi kerja-kerja kita secara lintas sektor yang mendukung upaya eliminasi malaria. Hal-hal yang belum kita lakukan hendaknya dapat dirumuskan pada pertemuan ini.
Saya mengharapkan Malaria Center yang telah dibentuk berdasarkan Keputusan Bupati Mamberamo Raya No. 260 Tahun 2022 menjadi simpul informasi, komunikasi dan dukungan lintas sektor dalam upaya percepatan eliminasi malaria di Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya. Terlaksananya Evaluasi Percepatan Eliminasi Malaria di Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya adalah peran serta kita semua, baik Bappeda, Dinas Kesehatan, Distrik, Kampung dan seluruh SKPD perlu duduk bersama dalam wadah Malaria Center. Kami berharap dengan Perbup Pedoman Percepatan Eliminasi Malaria akan memperkuat sistim dan strategi percepatan eliminasi malaria yang komprehensif yang melibatkan masyarakat dan lintas sektor di wilayah ini . Kami mengharapkan Malaria Center tidak saja menjadi simpul koordinasi dan komunikasi lintas sektor tetapi juga menjadi wadah monitoring, evaluasi dan kegiatan pemetaan kampung untuk mengukur epidemiologi dasar secara periodik, menilai cakupan intervensi ekologi dan vector, evaluasi kemajuan dan tantangan operasional program serta memprediksi hasil yang diharapkan dengan kombinasi intervensi yang berbeda.
Lebih lanjut Yusuf Mayabubun mengatakan: Sesuai dengan Tema Hari Malaria Sedunia (HMS) tahun 2023, yaitu ‘Time to Deliver Zero Malaria: Invest, Innovate, Implement atau Waktunya Mewujudkan Bebas Malaria: Investasi, Inovasi, Implementasi, segenap SKPD dan masyarakat di kabupaten ini menyusun kegiatan-kegiatan inovasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang mengungkit program eliminasi malaria menuju kabupaten Mamberamo Raya pada tahun 2026 tidak lagi ditemukan kasus malaria lokal dengan insiden malaria kurang dari 1 per 1.000 penduduk. Sebab itu pemerintah mengharapkan percepatan eliminasi malaria ini perlu di lombakan di tingkat kampung untuk merangsang dan menggerakkan semua elemen masyarakat. Selain itu, tokoh agama, Babinsa dan Babinkamtibmas juga perlu diperkuat keterlibatannya dalam gerakan percepatan eliminasi malaria ini. Dinas Kominfo saya himbau supaya melakukan pemasangan baliho dan spanduk di jalan-jalan utama dan di sekolah-sekolah. Edukasi malaria diperkuat tidak saja di sekolah tetapi juga di rumah-rumah ibadah.
